Charles Franklin Monroe Lambert

Charles was born on February 29, 1940 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Opal (Manning) Lambert and Charlie Lambert and passed away on July 29, 2024 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Loretta (Tinsley) Lambert on November 23, 1962 in MacFarland, California. He enjoyed retired life while spending time with his family, fishing, cooking, making jewelry, and watching westerns. Charles and Loretta opened their hearts and home to fostering children for many years and took care of more than 60 children during their time and adopted six.

Survivors are wife, Loretta of the home; 10 children, Belinda Howard and Roger of Muldrow, OK, Dwayne Lambert and Laura of Muldrow, OK Randall Lambert and Codi of Sallisaw, OK, John Lambert and Brandy of Gans, OK, Genene Brown of Sallisaw, OK, Elizabeth McDonald and Nick of Ada, OK, Jessica Ray and fiancé, Dylan, of Denham Springs, LA, Felicity Tammell and William of South Carolina, Lizzy Lambert of Gore, OK and Grace Lambert of Muldrow, OK; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Melvin Lambert and Linda of Delano, CA; and several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parent; one sister, Marie Blackburn; and two brothers, Troy Lambert and David Lambert.
