Funeral service for Charles Edward McMahan, 88 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.

He was born on December 27, 1933 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Alice (Hightower) McMahan and Charles Emmett McMahan and passed away on December 20, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was married to Lavonne (Israel) McMahan on February 5, 1994 in Eufaula, Oklahoma. Mr. McMahan was a facilities manager for City of Tulsa and an electrical contractor. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of Korean War.

Survivors are wife, Lavonne of the home; one daughter, Dani Stuart and Bob of Yukon, OK; six grandchildren, Brandon McMahan and Kyra of Huntsville, AL, Adam Hamm-McMahan of Newcastle, OK, Evan McMahan and Kourtini of Mustang, OK, Rob Stuart of Guthrie, Amanda Stuart of Longmont, CO and Christina Hirsh of Ventura, CA; fifteen great-grandchildren; two step-daughters, Debbie McCord of Tulsa, OK and Kellie Little and Paul of Brentwood, TN; one step-son, Michael McCord and Meg of Memphis, TN; seven step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Errol Wayne McMahan of Santa Maria, CA; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce McMahan; his parents; brother, Jerry McMahan; step-mother, Dovie McMahan and step-brothers, Eugene Pendergrass, M.C. and Donald Jiles.

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
