Cremation service for Charles Ray “Chuck” Duvall, 79 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on August 20, 1940 in Tulare, California to Ella Mae (Berry) Duvall and Homer Edward Duvall and passed away on July 30, 2020 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Betty Jane (McBee) Duvall on January 16, 1982 in Visalia, California. She preceded him in death on March 15, 2014. Mr. Duvall worked in construction for awhile, but spent his whole life as a musician and song writer. His biggest hit song, “Cheatin’s a Two-way Street”, was performed in 1981 by Sammi Smith.

Survivors are:

companion: Sandy Watkins of Sallisaw, OK;

1 daughter: Terri Hatcher of Sallisaw, OK;

2 sons: David Duvall of Visalia, CA and Kevin Duvall of Visalia, CA;

10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren:

1 brother: Jerry Duvall of Gore, OK;

several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife: BJ Duvall; 2 daughters: Jeannie Burton, Cynthia Kenny and 2 sisters: Ruby Duvall and Viva Duvall.
