Charles Reeves

Funeral Service for Charles Reeves, 75, of Liberty Community, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Swon Road Baptist Church in Liberty, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery in Liberty, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Charles was born on April 1, 1949 in Mulberry, Arkansas to Zelma (Morgan) Reeves and Elbert Reeves and passed away surrounded by his children and family on August 23, 2024 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. He was married to Pamela Jane (Dearen) Reeves on December 28, 1975 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on April 10, 2019. Charles was diligent at his work in all areas. His work ethic and generous heart were nothing less than admirable. In his spare time, he loved to design and build things and make them work. His personality and infectious smile could light up a dark room. He was well known among his family and friends for his poetry and writings, which will forever be treasured. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and the Liberty Community. 

Survivors are one son, Charles "CE" Reeves of Spiro, OK; three daughters, Tiffany Davis of Liberty, OK, Christie Dieter and Daniel of Roland, OK and Trina Eakins of Fort Smith, AR; seven grandchildren, Desiree Reeves, Natasha Reeves, Cody Davis and Micheyla, Kaitlyn Dooly and Drew, Colton Dieter, Ethan Dieter and Hannah Dieter; one great-grandchild, Carson Dooly; and several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife; one son, Jamison Boyster; parents; one brother, John Reeves; and one sister, Anita Holloway.

Active Pallbearers will be Cody Davis, Colton Dieter, Ethan Dieter, Robert Reeves, Terry Needham, Perry Mendenhall. 

Viewing will be 4 - 8 PM Wednesday and 10 AM - 8 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 6 - 8 PM Thursday.
