Charles Wayne Sanders, Jr., age 47, of Marble City, Oklahoma, passed away on April 21, 2025, in Vian, Oklahoma. Born on October 9, 1977, in Camp Springs, Maryland, he was the son of Shirley Irene (Gibson) Sanders and Charles Wayne Sanders.
Charles' life was dedicated to serving others through his work in law enforcement and his role as a security officer at Roland Casino. His adventurous spirit led him to enjoy a variety of pastimes, including scuba diving, fishing with his nephews and friends, ghost hunting, horseback riding, bodybuilding, and both hog and snake hunting.
He is survived by his son, Haden James Jones, of Sallisaw, OK; daughter, Mila Rae Thomas, of Muldrow, OK; five sisters: Kari Wagner of Kalispell, MT, Sue Murray, Janine Sanders, and Mary-Ann Perkins, all from the United Kingdom, and Tammie Sanders of Vian, OK; three brothers: George Wagner of Havre de Grace, MD, Robert Wagner of Great Falls, MT, and Steven Sanders of Marble City, OK; seven nephews: Asa Horse, Shacotah Sanders, Colton Sanders, Levi Sanders, Donald Simms, Jr., Nashoba Simms, and David Thomsen; one great-nephew, Canaan Sanders; along with many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Bailey Lynn and Sierra Lynn Sanders; and his brother, Darryl Sanders.
A cremation service for Charles Wayne Sanders, Jr. is being conducted under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
