Memorial service for Charles Thomas Kostka, 86 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 15, 2019 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.

He was born on October 6, 1933 in Montville, New Jersey to Andrew and Helen (Mudrock) Kostka. After he lost both of his parents, he was adopted by his aunt and uncle, Thomas and Veronica (Orlowski) Kostka. He passed this life on November 11, 2019 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mr. Kostka was a 1955 graduate of Sallisaw High School and served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a bridge builder and a cattle rancher.

He was married to Barbara Hayden Dewbery on October 29, 1983 in Rosenberg, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara of the home; daughter, Maria Bethany and David of Van Buren, AR; son, Victor Kostka and Denise of Sallisaw, OK; step-children, Dr. Leslie Bost of Oklahoma City, OK, Janelle McCormack and James of California and Johnny Dewbery and Teresa of Tishomingo, OK; grandchildren, Derek Bethany of Sallisaw, OK, Brooke McInerney and Levi of Van Buren, AR, Morgan Thompson and Connor of Bethany, OK, Jared Bethany of Van Buren, AR, Cassie Dewbery of Ada, OK, Sarah Bailey and Richard of Porterville, CA, Dylan Dewbery of Tishimingo, Ok and Dakota Dewbery of Ada, OK; great grandchildren, Ryan McInerney and Nate McInerney of Van Buren, AR, Baby Boy Thompson due February 2020, Logan Bailey and Aaron Bailey of Porterville, CA; numerous nieces, nephews and friends

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter: Rhonda, stepson: Skip Dewbery, sister: Madeline Kostka Fine, 2 sisters, 3 brothers and the mother of his children: Jean Veigel.

Honorary pallbearers will be John A. Holt, Don Robertson, Carl Robertson, Bob Fow, Gordy Fow, Kenny Cooper, Paul Dean Lessley and James McCormack.
