Burial will follow at Flute Springs Cemetery in Marble City, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on December 6, 1955 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Donnie Cheater and Charley Rogers and passed away on July 11, 2023 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
Survivors are one daughter, April Scott of Texas; one sister, Lucille Buster of Marble City, OK; one brother, Thomas Cheater of Sallisaw, OK; and several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Sallie Buzzard, and brother, George Christie.
Visitation will be 2 – 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
Active Pallbearers will be James Cheater, Thomas Cheater, Jr., Don Buster, Donovan Buster, Milton Buzzard and John Buzzard.
