Charlotte "Ann" Miller, age 83, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away on March 3, 2025. She was born on August 27, 1941, in Sallisaw to Ada (Taylor) Green and Hester Kenneth Green.

Ann married Burble "Bud" Miller on May 16, 1959, in Stilwell, Oklahoma. Together, they cultivated a loving and supportive home. Bud preceded her in death on August 6, 2017. Ann dedicated her career to serving her community, working as a secretary for Guy L. Thompson Insurance Agency, Dr. Robbins, the lime plant and the local health department as well as serving as a substitute teacher in Vian and Sallisaw. 

Known for her nurturing spirit, Ann had a gift for caregiving and opened her heart to everyone around her. She found joy in tending to her flowers and maintaining her yard, and she cherished the time spent playing sports with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. An avid cook, she took great pride in providing for her family.

Ann is survived by her two daughters, Janet Caughman and Dean of Sallisaw, OK, and Shelly Miller and Jeannie McGrew of Roland, OK; as well as four grandchildren, Jared Jones of Tahlequah, OK, Tyler Caughman and Katie of Coweta, OK, Jordan Jones of Sallisaw, OK, and Jon Jones and Kelsie of Sallisaw, OK. She also leaves behind nine great-grandchildren: Blaine, Mackenzie, and Colten Jones, Parker, Trevor, and Carter Caughman, Blake Jones, and Olivia and Lauren Jones.

She is remembered fondly by her six sisters, Maxine Patrick of Heritage, TX, Viola Harris and Arlie of Sallisaw, OK, Sue Christie and Charles of Sallisaw, OK, Brenda Covington and Artho of Sallisaw, OK, Helen Orf and Mike of Choctaw, OK, and Jeanette Beck of Sallisaw, OK; and her brother, Lee Green of Sallisaw, OK. In addition, she is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Burble; her daughter, Lisa Miller; her parents; one sister, Edith Hale; one brother, Ronald "Booty" Green; and her granddaughter-in-law, Amy Jones.

A funeral service will be held in her honor at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel, followed by burial at Sallisaw City Cemetery. Viewing will be available from 10 AM - 8 PM on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at the funeral home, where the family will greet visitors from 6 PM to 8 PM.

Active pallbearers will be her nephews, with honorary pallbearers being her grandsons and great-grandsons. The family extends special thanks to Levada Padgett, LeaAnn Taylor, and Elara Caring Hospice for their compassionate care.

Charlotte "Ann" Miller will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for her love, kindness, and unwavering support to all who knew her.
