Charlotte Ann Tramell

Charlotte Ann Tramell was born May 7, 1944 to Andrew and Ruby (Taylor) Speck in the Round Mountain Community of Vian, Oklahoma. She passed at the age of 80 on February 25, 2025 in Vian, Oklahoma. 

In 1962, she graduated from Vian High School where she was a member of FHA, Glee Club, Pep Club, and Art Editor of the Yearbook. As the mother of Wolverine football players, band members and a cheerleader, she volunteered as a teacher’s aide, chaperone for school trips and worked the concession stand for home games. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Charlotte worked as a medication aide at Vian Nursing Home for many years. She also provided home health care to many members of the community.

She loved the outdoors. She enjoyed camping, but fishing was her favorite pastime. She took pleasure in growing a variety of plants including herbs and other medicinal plants. She was skilled at canning and other means of preserving food for her family.

Charlotte leaves two sons and one daughter, Bob (Patty) Tramell of Vian, OK, Richard Tramell of Gore, OK and Katherine Tramell of Sequim, WA; one sister and one brother, Mildred Joan Speck-Reynolds of Broken Arrow, OK and Kip Speck (Darlene Brawner) of Tulsa, OK; one niece Janice (Reynolds) Wisdom (Todd) of Springdale, AR; five grandchildren, Marissa Tramell of Muskogee, OK, Amber Tramell of Tahlequah, OK, Amie Tramell of Grove, OK, Rebecca and Tammy Imholt of Kansas City, MO; sixteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Viewing will be 10 AM - 8 PM Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 - 8 PM. 

Graveside Service will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
