Cheri Lynn Reep

Cheri Lynn Reep, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away on February 9, 2025, at the age of 33. Cheri was born on September 11, 1991, in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Wanda Ann (Hinesley) Mosby and the late Robert Dale Reep. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Cheri's life was characterized by her deep love for animals, especially cats, dogs, and raccoons. Her passion for music was evident in her adoration of concerts and her fondness for the legendary Dolly Parton. She found joy in traveling, with cruises being a particular favorite of hers. A woman of faith, Cheri cherished her relationship with the Lord and expressed this devotion through singing in church. At Way of the Cross Freewill Baptist Church, she generously served as a substitute Sunday School teacher for her mother.

Cheri is survived by her mother, Wanda, and her step-father Joseph Mosby, who reside in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She held a special bond with her lifetime friend, Evalee Shaffer, who shared her home and many cherished memories. Cheri leaves behind two aunts, Debbie Varnell and Ozzie of Fort Smith, Arkansas, as well as Melisa Mills and Joe of Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous other family members and friends who adored her.

Cheri was preceded in death by her father, Robert Dale Reep; her grandparents, Cherry D. Reep, Robert E. Reep and Roy and Louise Hinesley; as well as her uncle, Michael Hinesley; aunt, Donna Jean Reep; and cousin, Kristi Lee Owens.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Way of the Cross Freewill Baptist Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, followed by burial at Long Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Viewing will take place at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, with hours from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, and from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 13, 2025.

Active pallbearers will include James Shaffer, Stevie Brewer, Ozzie Whitfield, Nathaniel Mosby, Dain Mosby, and Joseph Mosby. Cheri Lynn Reep will be remembered for her infectious spirit, kind heart, and unwavering faith. She leaves a lasting legacy of love and compassion that will continue to resonate within her community.
