Cherri’s passion in life, besides her golf and golfing buddies, centered on helping anyone in need in any manner possible. She opened her home to family, friends when need arose. Her quick sense of humor and her automatic association with the lighter side of life were her hallmarks of living. Her optimistic view of life in general always entered the door before her and guided her emotions and perceptions.
After family patriarchs and matriarchs passed, she assumed the role of sponsor and host of the yearly Jackson family reunions. She enjoyed those functions and always sought to keep in touch with her cousins.
