Funeral Service for Clara Opal (Kinsey) McCawley, 89, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on September 29, 1932 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Clara Ellen (Martindale) Kinsey and James Martin Kinsey and passed away on November 23, 2021 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was married to Samuel E. McCawley on March 8, 1952 in Van Buren, Arkansas. She was a retired Educator for Brushy School and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

Survivors are:

husband, Samuel of the home;

1 daughter, Judy Folks and Glennis of Sallisaw, OK;

2 sons, James McCawley and Tina of Sallisaw, OK and Glen McCawley and Pam of Grove, OK;

8 grandchildren, Chris Folks and Tracy of Fort Smith, AR, Elizabeth Tudor and Joey of Alma, AR, Samuel Kristopher McCawley and Crystal of Sallisaw, OK, Travis McCawley of Sallisaw, OK, Jennifer Hall and Loren of Saginaw, TX, Heather Cameron and Brad of Sallisaw, OK, Ryan Perano of Tulsa, OK and Deona Jones of Sallisaw, OK;

15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren;

and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Sam McCawley; parents; three sisters, Beatrice Hessom, Sherry Studebaker and Leba Crow; and five brothers, Arlin, Kimmel, Wayne, Laroy Kinsey and Maloy Kinsey.

Active Pallbearers will be Kris McCawley, Travis McCawley, Chris Folks, Joey Tudor, Brad Cameron, Ryan Perano, Loren Hall and Aiden Perano.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Deacons of Immanuel Baptist Church.

Viewing and Visitation will be 10 AM – 6 PM Saturday and 2 – 8 PM Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 4 – 6 PM Sunday.
