Cleatus (Barkley) Haning

Memorial services for Cleatus “Gaga” Haning, 95 of Vian, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 3, 2020 at Blackgum Harvestime Church in Vian, Oklahoma. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on November 28, 1924 in Mountain Top, Arkansas to Viola Childress Barkley and Thomas Samuel Barkley and passed away on June 26, 2020 in Vian, Oklahoma. She was married to Walter Lawrence Haning. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Haning was a homemaker and very active in the Republican Party and was a Delegate to the National Convention in 1964.

Survivors are:

2 daughters: Linda Farmer of Taos, NM and Holly McIntosh of Lubbock, TX;

8 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren;

several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 son: Thomas Lawrence Haning, and 1 daughter: Mary Weaver.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Gene Lemmon, Jacob Graham and Gordon Gillmore.
