Memorial Service for Clem Thompson, 81, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on January 2, 2020 at First Presbyterian Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on May 23, 1938 in Bessemer, Michigan to Valerie Thompson and Oscar Thompson and passed away on December 30, 2019 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Mary Lou Hight Thompson on June 16, 1962. He was a former Engineer at Borg Warner and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.

Survivors are:

wife: Mary Lou of the home;

1 daughter: Libby and Charles Starks of Sallisaw, OK;

4 grandchildren: Christopher Froehlich, Jesse Froehlich, Jackie Byrd and John Starks;

5 great-grandchildren: Aidan, Eme, Gage, Sawyer and Xander;

1 sister: Christine Quakenbush of Sallisaw, OK;

2 brothers: Carl Thompson of Oklahoma City, OK and Mike and Sherry Thompson of Latrobe, PA;

several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Valerie and Oscar Thompson; 1 daughter, Amy Thompson; and 1 grandson, Robert John Starks.
