He was born on August 22, 1940 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Betty Maxine (Rushing) Brooks and Charles Henry Brooks I and passed away on August 21, 2020 in Vian, Oklahoma. He was married to Wanda Johnston Brooks on June 8, 1968 in Nowata, Oklahoma. He was a welder and a Veteran of the United States Marines.
Survivors are:
wife: Wanda of the home;
4 daughters: Robin Cowan of Henryetta, OK, Kimberly Rogers of Lander, WY, Brandi Hall of New Jersey and Betty Diane Navare of New Jersey;
2 sons: Marty Hye of Oklahoma City, OK and Charles Brooks II of Mississippi;
several grandchildren and great-grandchildren;
1 sister: Pansy Blaksley of Grand Lake, OK;
several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
