Clinton Buttrey

Funeral Service for Clinton “Clint” Buttrey, 39, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Blackgum Harvestime Church in Blackgum, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Box Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Clint was born on May 27, 1981 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Linda Louise (Pittman) Alford and Darrell Edward Buttrey and passed away on March 24, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He loved spending his time cooking for himself and all of the people he loved so dearly. He shared a special bond with his parents’ Shitzu, “Hunter.” He was a country concert fan, with Little Big Town being his favorite. Children adored him and he enjoyed all of the care taking duties that came with it. Clint was a Bachelorette fan and thoroughly had a great time loving his life very vividly. He enjoyed horses, going to the lake and he was able to see the ocean for the first time in Galveston, October 2020.

Survivors are:

1 daughter: Raylee Ann of Oklahoma;

father: Darrell Buttrey and Sue of Broken Arrow, OK;

mother: Linda Alford of Locust Grove, OK;

3 sisters: Jessica FIsher and Sean of Locust Grove, OK, Amber Mabes and Mike of Tulsa, OK and Amy Brown and Meaghan of Tulsa, OK;

1 brother: Bryan Brown and Erica of Bixby, OK;

nieces and nephews: Sonny, Issabella, Grace, Madison, Hudson, Grayson, Maddox, Remi and Carson;

grandmother: Carol Buttrey of Vian, OK;

grandfather: Robert Pittman of Tulsa, OK;

other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his step-dad, Steve Alford; grandmother, Dale Pittman; grandfather, Donald Buttrey; his nephew, Wyatt Lee Sanders; and two uncles, Ronnie Buttrey and Bobby Pittman.

Active Pallbearers will be Sean Fisher, Bryan Brown, Mike Mabes, Kyle Jordan, Troy Buttrey and Calvin Harned.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Dukes Buttrey and David Buttrey.

Viewing and Visitation will be 1 – 8 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM.
