Dale Drain

Services for Dale Drain, 41, of Marble City, OK will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 24, 2019 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Marble City Cemetery in Marble City, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

On November 28, 1977, a loving, generous, hardworking and stubborn man was born in Ft. Smith, AR to Dorene White Drain and Buster George Drain. He married Janetta Woodward Drain on February 27, 2004 in Marble City, OK. Mr. Drain was a farmer. He loved tractors, baling hay, and raising cattle. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

He was an adventurous child that got into many scrapes through the years and didn’t hesitate to try something new. As he grew, he worked hard to help build the family business with his father and became a volunteer firefighter. It was during this time he met the love of his life and in 2004 they married and had three beautiful children.

As the years continued, he taught his sons and daughter about kindness and helping others and passed on his love of the farming way of life. Mr. Drain passed away on May 17, 2019 in Marble City, OK.

Survivors are:

Wife: Janetta of the home;

2 sons: Jason and Aidan Drain of the home;

1 daughter: MaKynli Drain of the home;

father: Buster Drain of Marble City, OK;

1 sister and brother in law: Stephanie and Eardie Six of Marble City, OK;

serveral nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorene Drain.

Active Pallbearers will be Pancho Castillo, Eardie Six, Jeremy Cheater, Mike Vowell, Mike Little and Rick McClendon.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jason Drain, Aidan Drain and Devin Six.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where family will greet 6 – 8 PM.
