He was born on October 12, 1948 in Wilder, Kansas to Mary (Sams) Self and Beacher Self and passed away on January 22, 2020 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mr. Self was a truck driver.

Survivors are:

1 son: Daniel Self of Alabama;

his grandchildren;

1 sister: Barbara Hill of Hector, AR;

2 brothers: Terry Self of Kansas City, KS and Roger Self of Eudora, KS;

numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter: Mary Self, parents, sister: Betty Poindexter and brother: James Self.
