David Eugene Sharp was born on September 23, 1947 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, the son of Clifford LaFay Sharp, Sr. and Delta Estella Francis (David) Sharp. He passed this life on December 17, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. David was a lifelong resident of Muldrow, Oklahoma and an avid fan of the Bulldogs. He was a goodhearted uncle who enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. David had a genuine love for his pets. He spent his evenings with a lap full of pups and listening to ball games. He also enjoyed traveling with his Christie family, especially his best friend, Dave Christie.
Survivors are two brothers, Virgil Sharp of Huntington, AR and Jerry Don Sharp of Midwest City, OK; one brother-in-law, Frank Jackson of Wenatchee, WA; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Sr. and Delta (David) Sharp; two sisters, Maxine Jackson and Geneva Green; and six brothers, Clifford Jr. “Son”, Robert, Tommy, Lonnie “Buck”, Billy Joe and Johnny Sharp.
