David F. Johnson

Celebration of Life for David F. Johnson, 74, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 6:00 PM on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at VFW Post 4518 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on December 17, 1949 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Margie (Stevenson) Johnson and William Jefferson Johnson and passed away on December 17, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was married to Juanita (Newberry) Johnson on Aug. 11, 1969 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on February 20, 2021. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and worked as a Tactical Officer on a P3.

Survivors are three daughters, Jody Dutton of Palm Coast, FL, Shannon Johnson of Lebanon, PA, Samantha Hamm of Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren, Alicia, Kari, Gabriel and Jackson; mother, Margie Johnson of Sallisaw, OK; companion, Jessie Littledeer of Sallisaw, OK; and several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; wife; and one granddaughter, Madelaine.
