Funeral service for David “Mandy” Johnson, 78 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.

He was born on January 23, 1942 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Lucy (Glass) Johnson and Jimmy Johnson and passed away on February 2, 2020 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mr. Johnson was a retired truck driver. He loved his family, horses, OU Football, fishing and playing softball.

Survivors are:

3 sisters: Aliene Mann of Tulsa, OK, Gracie Kitchens of Alabama and Margaret Parker of Kentucky;

6 brothers: Amos Johnson and wife, Patricia of Sallisaw, OK, Bill Johnson and wife, Allie of Broken Arrow, OK, Everett Johnson of Sallisaw, OK, Jesse Johnson and wife, Claudia of Tulsa, OK, James “June Bug” Johnson and wife, Angie of Sallisaw, OK and Charlie Johnson of Sallisaw, OK;

numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son: Anthony and 3 brothers: James, George and Jim Henry Johnson.
