Dawn Michelle Teehee, age 54, passed away from this life on March 14, 2025 surrounded by family at Mercy Hospital in Ft. Smith, Arkansas.
"Granny", as she was affectionately known, was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma on April 6, 1970 to Pearl Braymer and Gene Bread and raised with Pearl and Richard Braymer.
Dawn always had a nurturing side to her that was well known. It drove her to become a caretaker at the nursing home and eventually to get her LPN license. She worked as a dedicated CNA, LPN, and Case Manager. Once she set her mind to something, she made it her mission to achieve that goal.
Competitive and determined, her favorite hobbies included collecting miniatures, playing vicious games of spades with family and riding four wheelers. When she was happy, everyone knew. Her laugh could be heard across the stomp ground and it made others laugh with her.
When asked about her biggest accomplishment, she would always reply "My children. I always knew I wanted to be a mom." You could see this in the many pictures she took and hung proudly within her home.
She was preceded in death by Old Grandma and Grandpa Morris, Lorene and Jess Drywater, and brother William "Billy" Braymer, along with other family members. Awaiting her arrival is her very cherished dog.
Survivors are her devoted husband of 29 years, JD Teehee; two children, Jessica Wacoche and husband Aaron Wacoche and Jonathan White and wife Genasa White; two grandchildren, William Wacoche she nicknamed "Hummy" and Lucas White she nicknamed "Boogz"; mother, Pearl Braymer; brother Daniel Sonny Braymer and sister Heather Braymer; other brothers and sisters Chuck Bread, Anthony Gene Bread, Julia Bread, Gene Anthony Bread, Vanessa Bread, Dorothy Stites, and Phillip Bread; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
