A Memorial Gathering for Deanna Davenport, 74, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on February 2, 1948 in Fort Worth, Texas and adopted by Idell and Hugh Kitching and passed away on November 15, 2022 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. She was raised in Alamogordo, New Mexico and graduated high school in 1966. She owned and operated a restaurant there for three to four years. She was married to Henry Shaw for 12 years and they had two sons. She married Danny Lee Davenport on January 22, 1982 in Alamogordo, New Mexico and he took her to Germany while in the Air Force. They later settled in Muldrow. She ran the Holt Krock Cafeteria and then owned and operated Dandee’s Restaurant before retirement. She was a master horticulturist who loved elephant ears. She remained a fabulous cook and specialized in candy and desserts. She was also an animal and hummingbird whisperer. She was a very talented lady that will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Survivors are husband of 40 years, Danny of the home; two sons, Johnnie Shaw and wife, Vinnie, of Stilwell, OK and Rohnnie Shaw and wife, Michelle, of Austin, TX; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; best friend, Tonya Stephens; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Sandra; and one brother, Jimmy Kitching.
