Services for Deloris A. Cox, 80 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Victory Temple Church in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Lee’s Chapel Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
She was born on April 14, 1937 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Ollie Ruth (Harris) Reece and George Washington Reece and passed away on January 19, 2018 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was married to Homer E. Cox on July 22, 1955 in Stigler, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker, Church nursery caretaker for over 50 years and a member of Victory Temple Church in Ft. Smith, AR.

Survivors are:

6 daughters: Cynthia Young of Sallisaw, OK, Brenda Holland and Junior of Greenwood, AR, Barbara Thornburg of Muldrow, OK, Crystal Sullivan of Muldrow, OK, Lisa Johnson and Howard of Lavaca, AR and Angel Pulliam of Tulsa, OK

16 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren

2 sisters: Nadine Wooten of Whitefield, OK and Saundra Hysop of Muskogee, OK

2 brothers: George Reece of Chelsea, OK and Arlie Reece of Nowata, OK

Several other relatives and friends

She was preceded in death by 1 son: Jack Cox, her husband: Homer E. Cox, 1 granddaughter: Miranda Johnson, her parents and numerous brothers and sisters

Active Pallbearers will be Derek Sullivan, Ronald Sullivan, Justin Johnson, Logan Pulliam, Gage Pulliam and Travis Thornburg.

Viewing will be 2 – 8 pm Sunday, 10 am – 8 pm Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm Monday.
