She was born on May 4, 1963 in Zanesville, Ohio to Susan Jean (Smith) Moran and William Everett Moran and passed away on December 5, 2020 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was married to Neil Poindexter on September 29, 1989 in Greenwood, Arkansas. . Mrs. Poindexter graduated Drumright High School in 1981. . She worked her way up from being a dishwasher at Drumright to a cook and later a dietary manager at Sequoyah Manor Nursing Home, where she worked for 30 years. Friends and family were her life, she was always checking on everyone else. She never wanted to leave the nursing home short-handed even though she could have retired.

Survivors are:

husband of 31 years: Neil of the home;

1 son: Christopher Poindexter of Sallisaw, OK;

mother: Susan Moran of Drumright, OK;

2 sisters: Karen Vanzant and Jamie of Morrison, OK and Janet Criner and Jim of Cushing, OK;

4 brothers: Wesley Moran and Kim of Drumright, OK, Michael Moran of Drumright, OK, Doug Moran and Donna of Drumright, OK and William Moran and Ashley of Drumright, OK;

numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father: Bill.
