Diane Louise (Wright) Pierce

Diane Louise Wright Pierce, 78 of Gore, Oklahoma was born to Louise (Walker) Martin and Henry A. Wright and passed away on September 6, 2018 in Gore, Oklahoma. She was married to Charles B. Pierce, Jr. on May 1, 1959 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on January 24, 1993. Mrs. Pierce was the owner and operator of the horse breeding farm “Morning Line Farms” and a horsemans bookkeeper at Blue Ribbon Downs.

Survivors are:

2 daughters: Cindy Shry and husband, Richard of Gore, OK and Dr. Wendy Rhoads of Whitesboro, TX

1 son: Charles B. Pierce, III and wife, Rachelle of Webbers Falls, OK

5 grandchildren

11 great grandchildren

1 sister: Sally Cohea of Edmond, OK

2 brothers: Tim Tipton of Broken Arrow, OK and Tom Tipton of Texas

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 1 sister: Paula Gardner and 2 brothers: Steven Wright and Mike Tipton

A private family service will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
