Don Edwards

Graveside Service for Don Edwards, 74 of Akins community, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Long Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on September 11, 1946 in Scratchout Community, Oklahoma to Alice (Anderson) Edwards and Otis Edwards and passed away on August 14, 2021 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, a retired house framer and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are:

1 daughter: Lacey Wallace and son-in-law, Zack Mabray of Muldrow, OK;

1 brother: Ronald Edwards and sister-in-law, Tina, of Muldrow, OK;

nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Modell Looper and Anita Renfro.

Active pallbearers will be Kenneth Lucas, Hog Nelson, Roy Petree, A.J. Henshaw, Jason McKenzie and Bruce Tabor.

Honorary pallbearers will be Darren Looper, D.C. Keith, Jerry Wayne, John Van, Ron Edwards, Danny Edwards and Ricky Pratt.

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm.
