Funeral service for Donald “Glen” Barnes, 63 of Gore, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Lighthouse Tabernacle in Gore, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at White Cemetery in Gore, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on June 4, 1957 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Mary Skinner Barnes and Edd Barnes and passed away on June 27, 2020 in Gore, Oklahoma. He was married to Tamina Armstrong Barnes on July 12, 2007 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Mr. Barnes was an auto body technician and attended Lighthouse Tabernacle in Gore. He loved to hunt and fish. Glen was a Man of God. He loved spending time with his family and his greatest joys were his grandkids.

Survivors are:

wife: Tamina of the home;

5 daughters: Cory Barnes of Fayetteville, AR, Glena Keathley and husband Lester of Gore, OK, Alicia Smith and husband David of Warner, OK, Samantha Cochran and husband Chris of Gideon, OK, and Bethany Sumpter and husband Steven of Gore, OK;

12 grandchildren: Kayde, Elle, Tucker, Jackson, Alex, Ashlyn, Ty, Summer, Mason, Jaren, Jarrah and Tate;

1 brother: Eddy Barnes and wife Connie of Tahlequah, OK;

1 brother in law: Jerry Howard of Broken Arrow, OK;

several nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Edd Barnes and Mary Etta Skinner Barnes, 2 sisters: Gennie Barnes and Inez Howard, 2 brothers: John Barnes and George Barnes.

Active Pallbearers will be Lester Keathley, David Smith, Chris Cochran, Steven Sumpter, Aaron Emerson, Anthony White, Ed Barnes, Jr., Earl Emerson, Jr. and Chris Keathley.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Eddy Barnes.

Viewing will be 1 – 8 pm Tuesday at Agent Millsap Event Center in Gore, OKwhere the family will greet 6 – 8 pm.
