Funeral service for Donald Lee Walters, 78, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on January 20, 1941 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Perdita Arvilla (Millikan) Walters and Roy Lee Walters and passed away on October 10, 2019 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith. He was affectionately known to his grandchildren as “Bibo” and his coworkers as “Bootlegger.”

Survivors are:

1 son: Dewayne Walters and Lesia of Sallisaw, OK;

2 grandsons: Dustin Walters and Gail of Sallisaw, OK and Jeremy Walters and girlfriend, Michelle, of Sallisaw, OK;

1 granddaughter: Ashley Jiles of Sallisaw, OK;

5 great grandchildren: Rylan, Drake, Kaylee, Hunter and Jackson;

2 sisters: Judy Sumpter and Larry of Ft. Smith, AR and Linda Pruitt and Terry of Sallisaw, OK;

1 brother: Jerry Walters and Sandra of Tulsa, OK;

numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers: Maxie and Leroy Walters and 1 sister: Loretta Bradshaw.

Pallbearers will be Dewayne Walters, Dustin Walters, Jeremy Walters, Greg Kelly, Donnie Sizemore, Hunter Walters and Jackson Jiles.

Viewing will be 4 – 8 PM Friday, 10 AM – 8 PM Saturday, 2 – 8 PM Sunday and 10 AM – 8 PM Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma where the family will greet 5 – 7 PM Monday.
