Funeral Service for Donald Ray Burris, 80, of Stillwater, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on September 17, 1941 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Etter Viola (Bell) Burris and Isaac “Bud” Burris and passed away on March 26, 2022 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He was a retired truck driver for Rain’s and Sons Trucking and was a United States Army Veteran.

Survivors are:

1 son, Randy Burris, Sr. and wife, Dana, of Muldrow, OK;

1 daughter, Michelle Booker Burris of Porter, OK;

10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson;

1 sister, Mary Whiten of Conyers, GA;

3 brothers, Emmett Burris of Sapulpa, OK, Odis Burris of Sapulpa, OK and Walter Lee Burris of Wagoner, OK;

and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, David Ray Burris, Sr.; one great-grandson, Alexander Donovan Ray Burris; four sisters, Evie Mae Hollis, Ella Glass, Ethel McGowen and Helen Ledbetter; and three brothers, Monroe Burris, Roy Burris and Elmer Burris.

Active Pallbearers will be Brandon Burris, Randy Burris, Jr., Kyle Burris, David Burris, Jr., Judd Booker and Brad Grayson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Ethan Howard, Tyler Cochran, Hunter Burris, Tyren Cochran, Daniel Morrow, Bryson Burris, Grayson Burris, Zachory Swimscoe and Donnie Jones.

Viewing will be Noon – 8 PM Thursday and 10 AM – 8 PM Friday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM Friday.
