Celebration of Life for Donald Ray James, 67 of Roland, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 29, 2020 at at the Home of Rod and Kim Svendsen in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc. The family requests that people attending the service dress in casual clothing and bring a fishing pole.

He was born on August 13, 1952 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma to Lois Marie (Ashley) James and Walter Eugene James and passed away on May 23, 2020 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Margie Lee (Brown) James on October 8, 1969 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. . Mr. James was a warehouse manager at Griffins Wholesale Grocery, MBM, and Dot Foods

Survivors are:

wife: Margie of the home;

1 daughter: Kimberly Svendsen and husband, Rodney, of Muldrow, OK;

1 son: Michael James and wife, Jennifer, of Roland, OK;

4 grandchildren: Shane, Ashley, Dakota and Shaylee Dawn;

6 great-grandchildren: Ryan, Alistair, Alaina Marie, Cambren, Jackson and Lincoln;

4 brothers: David James of Sallisaw, OK, Lloyd James of Van Buren, AR, John Paul James of Roland, OK and Dewayne James of Roland, OK;

1 sister: Pat Jones of Muldrow, OK;

several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Active Pallbearers will be Shane Svendsen, Dakota James, Blake Flurry, William James, Tony Jones and John Jones.
