Doris Jean (Smith) Rosson

Graveside service for Doris Jean Rosson, 75 of Vian, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 30, 2021 at White Cemetery in Gore, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on September 6, 1945 in Sacramento, California to Dora Jane (Green) Smith and Walter Lee Smith and passed away on August 27, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was married to Billy Joe Rosson on October 29, 1968 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on August 14, 2021. Mrs. Rosson was a homemaker and devoted wife and mother until her children graduated school then she began a career as a home health provider. She was all about her family and a very good cook.

Survivors are:

Daughter: Jeana Fuller of Vian, OK;

Son: Mike Rosson of Edmond, OK;

Eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren;

One sister: Linda Timeaus of Tulsa, OK;

other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 2 sons: Harold McDonald, Jr. and infant son Randy, 1 grandson: Jason Shaw, 3 brothers: Bobby Smith, Jerry Smith and Jimmy Smith.
