Graveside services for Doris Jean Shockey, 76 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 am on Monday, May 7, 2018 at Memory Garden Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
She was born on February 18, 1942 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to Maxine (Treat) Holmes and Olen Holmes and passed away on May 2, 2018 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was married to Homer L. Shockey on December 27, 1970 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on January 24, 2008. Mrs. Shockey was a business owner.
Survivors are:
2 daughters: Carla Fivekiller and her husband, David of Akins, OK and Vickie Shockey of Sallisaw, OK
1 son: Darren Shockey of Arkansas
11 grandchildren: Heather Woods, Ashley Fivekiller, Bobby Philpot, Jennifer Philpot, Brandon Shockey, Jason Shockey, Megan Shockey, Chris Shockey, Matt Shockey, Chase Shockey and Katie Shockey
numerous great grandchildren
1 brother: Larry Holmes of Tahlequah, OK
niece: Dana Huggins and husband, Darin of Muldrow, OK
numerous other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by her husband: Homer, parents: Olen and Maxine Holmes, 1 son: Darrell Shockey, and 2 grandsons: Derek Shockey and Hunter Creekkiller
Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Saturday and 2 – 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
