Services will be at 1 pm on October 16, 2017 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service in Sallisaw, OK.
Active pallbearers will be Sammy Lockhart, Jason Dotson, Kyle Brunk and Garren Meadows.
Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Saturday and 2 – 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.

Doris Laveda Strickland, 77 of Tulsa, OK passed away on October 12, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on October 25, 1939 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Jessie Nora (Meadows) Walls and Perry Bradley Walls. She was married to Jack Edison Strickland. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Strickland was a directory assistance operator for Southwestern Bell for 33 years.
Survivors are:
2 sisters: Louise Walls of the home and Bonita Walls of the home
1 brother: Darrell Walls of the home
numerous other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents
