Services for Dorothy Joy Kirk, 91 of Marble City, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, April 9 2018 at Marble City Holiness Church in Marble City, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Marble City Cemetery in Marble City, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
She was born on November 27, 1926 in Beggs, Oklahoma to Thyra Mae (Henderson) Long and Adolf Henri Long and passed away on April 5, 2018 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She was married to Jack Walton Kirk on January 2, 1943 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on December 6, 1993. Mrs. Kirk was a retired educator.

Survivors are:

1 son and daughter in law: John and Bonnie Kirk of Marble City, OK

3 daughters and sons in law: Victoria and Sequoyah Fox of Kansas, OK, Andrea and Wayne Roberts of Sallisaw, OK and Florence and Dale Brake of Vian, OK

5 grandchildren: Vince Kirk, Wyman Kirk, Jeff Brake, Michele Roberts and Mark Brake

17 great grandchildren

1 brother and sister in law: Cecil Ed and Dorothy Tune of Spiro, OK

a host of friends and other relatives

She was preceded in death by her husband: Jack Kirk and her parents: Thyra (Henderson) Long and A.H. Long

Active pallbearers will be Vince Kirk, Wyman Kirk, Jeff Brake, Mark Brake, Nathan Roberts, Jacob Brake, Tristan Brake and Tray Roberts.
Flower Bearers will be Michele Roberts, Lanette Brake, Addie Roberts, Hailie Brake, Hannah Brake, Grace Brake and Charlotte Brake .

Viewing will be Noon – 8 pm Saturday and 2 – 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma where the family will greet 4 – 8 pm Sunday.
