Doy Dan Wilkins was born on November 17, 1931 in Keota, Oklahoma to Syble Inez (Gilstrap) Wilkins and Emmett Lonnie Wilkins and passed away on May 20, 2019 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Bernice Ford Wilkins on December 14, 1956 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was a Retired Conductor for Missouri Pacific Railroad, a Veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Church of Christ in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.

Survivors are:

wife: Bernice Wilkins of the home;

1 daughter: Nancy Lynn Dockery and husband, Greg, of Ft. Smith, AR;

3 grandchildren: Ryan, Landry and Caidan

1 sister: Betty Wayne Fenton and husband, Fred, of Stigler, OK

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Syble Wilkins

Active Pallbearers will be Chris Fenton, Kevin Fenton, Ryan Dockery, Dan Drummond, Caidan Dockery, Kurt Wade Stephens and Donnie Kibbe.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Fred Fenton, Curtis Stephens and Robert Suttle.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Thursday and 10 AM – 8 PM Friday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM Friday.
