Graveside service for Dusty Rhoades, 91 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on October 18, 1929 in Lampasas, Texas to Beulah Augusta (Corter) Rhoades and Forrest Septamus Rhoades, Sr. and passed away on May 22, 2021 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Margie Sue (Daniels) Rhoades on February 1, 1955 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mr. Rhoades was a retired surveyor for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors are:
wife: Margie Sue of the home;
2 daughters: Karen Ray and Dave of Sallisaw, OK and Paula Padgett and Steve of Sallisaw, OK;
1 son: Phillip Rhoades of Sallisaw, OK;
7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild;
numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his great grandson, parents, 1 brother: Forrest S. Rhoades, Jr. and 2 sisters: Berniece Strong and Etna Scott.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Matthew Rhoades, Elisha Rhoades, Josh Padgett, Daniel Ray, Davey Ray and Brad Jackson.
Viewing will be 2 – 8 pm Monday and 10 am – 8 pm Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
