Memorial Service for Ed Heflin, 64, of Gore, Oklahoma, will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 12, 2024 at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Vian, Oklahoma. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc. The family asks that those attending the service wear something brightly colored to help celebrate Ed's life. 

He was born on October 9, 1959 in Marlow, Oklahoma to Bonnie Rue (Cleere) Heflin and James Gilbert Heflin and passed away on July 9, 2024 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Nancy (Candler) Heflin on May 26, 1979 in St. Louis, Missouri. Ed was a retired Missionary Baptist minister. He loved hunting, fishing and playing Domino's. He was a loving father and husband who doted on his beloved family.

Survivors are wife, Nancy of the home; three daughters, Jessica Riediger and James of Edmond, OK, Melissa Thompson of Vian, OK and Rebekah Whitaker and James of Humboldt, TN; two sons, Aaron Heflin and Rebecca of Vian, OK and Thomas Heflin of Petoskey, MI; seven grandchildren, Jackson Heflin and Leah, Brooke Pruitt and Randall, Madeline Riediger, Eleanor Riediger, Amelia Thompson, Ayden Heflin and Daniel Whitaker; one great-grandchild, Elliott Heflin; father, Jim Heflin of Gore, OK; one brother, Daniel Heflin and Patricia of Hollis, OK; and several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother; two brothers, Max Heflin and Jerry Heflin.
