Graveside Service for Ed Owens, 86, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Cottonwood Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on October 6, 1934 to America (Wann) Owens and John B. Owens and passed away on August 19, 2021 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Linda Carlene (Smithson) Owens. He retired from Gould Battery as a maintenance man. Ed loved catfishing and building cabinets.

Survivors are:

wife: Linda Carlene Owens of the home;

children: Rickey Owens and Darlene of Sallisaw, OK and Pamela Anderson of Muldrow, OK;

step-children: Carla Pailette and Paul of Mississippi and Hope McKamie and Dave of Charleston, AR;

5 grandkids: Shannon Owens and Angela of Fredonia, KS, Misty Pratt of Sallisaw, OK, Shane Owens and Mandy of Webbers Falls, OK, Brittany Hill and Ike of Liberty, OK and Keith McElyea of Muldrow, OK;

11 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; numerous other step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren;

sister: Lela Waldrop and Claudie of Muldrow, OK and Fern Shackelford of Muldrow, OK;

brother: Donald Owens of Missouri;

numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and America Owens; late wife, Inez Owens; three sisters, Essie Gibbons, Marie Chapman, Hazel Shackelford; and son-in-law, Lloyd Anderson.

Active Pallbearers will be Shannon Owens, Shane Owens, Keith McElyea, Isaac Pratt, Rickey Shane Owens and Ike Hill.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Paul Pailette and Dave McKamie.
