Services for Edna Mae Rushing, 80 of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 1 pm on Monday, June 18, 2018 at Short Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Seabolt Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on October 7, 1937 in Cookson, Oklahoma to Nedra LaFaye (Ridgeway) Risley and Silas Ocie Risley and passed away on June 13, 2018 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She was married to Marvin Jackson “Jack” Rushing on November 11, 1954 in St. Helena, California. She worked in data processing at Whirlpool for 15 years and was a Southern Baptist.

Survivors are:

3 daughters: Cynthia Eagle of Muldrow, OK, Venona Hoover of Nicut, OK, and Donna Foust of Charlotte, NC

2 sons: Ervin “John” Rushing of Nicut, OK and Jason Rushing of Nicut, OK

12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren

2 sisters: Barbara Gude of Muldrow, OK and Phyllis Marble of Ft. Gibson, OK

2 brothers: Paul Collins of Van Buren, AR and Randy Risley of Gore, OK

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin “Jack” Rushing; 2 sons, Lucas and Nathan Rushing; 1 granddaughter, Selena E. Eagle; 1 great granddaughter, Christina McTyre;
her parents, Silas and Nedra Risley and 3 brothers, David Collins, Ervin Risley, and Charles Richard “Dick” Risley

Active Pallbearers will be John Rushing, Jason Rushing, Sam Foust, Tommy Hoover, Randy Risley, and Paul Collins.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Tom Collins, Bill Collins, and Robby Gude .

Viewing will be Sunday 2 – 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK. The family will greet from 2 – 4 pm.
