Edsol Lucas Edwards

Funeral Service for Edsol Lucas Edwards, 94 of Vian, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 4, 2023 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Box Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on February 18, 1929 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Lula (Vick) Edwards and Roy Edwards and passed away on November 28, 2023 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was married to Juanita Ethel (Brown) Edwards on February 28, 1953 in Van Buren, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on February 5, 2011. Mr. Edwards was a retired inspector from Whirlpool, a farmer and rancher and a U.S. Army Veteran.

Survivors are three daughters, Deborah Todd of Park Hill, OK, Delores Hawk of Sallisaw, OK and Lolita Edwards of Vian, OK; two sons, Lonnie Edwards of Gore, OK and Dwayne Edwards of Claremore, OK; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and one sister, Dorothy Shives

Active Pallbearers will be Logan Todd, Jason Todd, Zac Vickers and Ashton Vickers.

Viewing will be 2 – 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 3 – 5 pm.
