Funeral Service for Edward Gean Jones, 69, of Roland, Oklahoma will be at 9:30 AM on Friday, June 2, 2023 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at 11:00 AM at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on November 20, 1953 in Wilson, Oklahoma to Lucy Bernice (Winkles) Jones and France Jones and passed away on May 30, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Jeannie (Holliman) Jones on February 8, 2002 in Russellville, Arkansas. Edward was a Veteran of the United States Air Force where he attained the rank of Sergeant. He worked for Whirlpool for 35 years and was a Southern Baptist.
Survivors are wife, Jeannie of the home; two sons, Jesse Jones and Jacklyn of Ozark, AR and Layne Jones of Fort Smith, AR; two daughters, Karman Johnson of Oklahoma City, OK and Michaela Jones of Roland, OK; five grandchildren, Seren Jones, Akira Fry, Adeline Johnson, Emmalyn Johnson and William Jones; one sister, Cornelia Owens of West Fork, AR; one brother, Leonard Jones of Healdton, OK; and several relatives and friends.
He was preceded by his parents; and one sister, Francine Lucas.
Viewing will be Noon – 8 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK.
