Funeral Service for Effie Mae (Miller) Thompson, 88, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 9:00 AM on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at U.S. National Cemetery at 10:00 AM in Fort Smith, Arkansas under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Funeral Service for Effie Mae (Miller) Thompson, 88, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 9:00 AM on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at U.S. National Cemetery at 10:00 AM in Fort Smith, Arkansas under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on March 21, 1933 in Muldrow, Oklahoma to Earlie Mae (Rogers) Miller and Archibald Miller and passed away on February 14, 2022 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. She was married to Coy H. Thompson on August 26, 1950. He preceded her in death on December 24, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Hunter. Mrs. Thompson was retired from Patient Care at Sparks Hospital and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. She was known by many and loved by all. Effie was reluctant to accept, always willing to give and she now rests in the hands of our Lord.

Survivors are:

2 Sons, Steve Thompson of Muldrow, OK and Roger Thompson of Soldotna, AK;

4 Grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren;

1 Sister, Shirley Jones;

and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra; husband, Coy H. Thompson; and three siblings, James George Miller, Darrell Mack Miller and Virgie Farmer.

Active Pallbearers will be Jimmy Miller, Darrell Miller, Steve Thompson, Roger Thompson, Johnathon Farmer and Billy Mack Miller.

Viewing will be Noon – 8 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM.
