Funeral services for Elbert “Boog” Younger, 85 of Roland, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 13, 2020 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Roland City Cemetery in Roland, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on February 14, 1934 in Moffett, Oklahoma to Lottie Mary (Kling) Younger and Brinkley Younger, Sr. and passed away on January 8, 2020 in Roland, Oklahoma. He was married to Lillie Mae (Bynum) Younger on February 19, 1955 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Mr. Younger was a machinist.

Survivors are:

wife: Lillie of the home;

3 daughters: JoAnn Hayes of Roland, OK, Vicki Darlene Younger of Roland, OK and Rita Benge and Kevin of Roland, OK;

1 son: Gary Younger and Marlene of Muldrow, OK;

6 grandchildren: Dwayne Hayes and Donna of Roland, OK, Shaun Hayes of Fayetteville, AR, Telitha Benge of Muldrow, OK, Dakotah Benge of Roland, OK, Brian Owens and Libby of Muldrow, OK and Brandi Vann and Wade of Roland, OK;

6 great grandchildren: Kirk McDonald and Samantha of Fort Smith, AR, Destinie McDonald of Roland, OK, Brinkley Hayes of Roland, OK, Lynnli Benge of Muldrow, OK, Brookelyn Owens of Muldrow, OK and Whitley Coatney and Logan of Nashville, TN;

4 great great grandchildren: Jacob Ince, Harvey McDonald, Adalind McDonald and Avery McDonald;

numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter: Karen Younger, parents: Lottie and Brinkley Younger, and 3 brothers and 2 sisters in law: B.J. and Dorothene Younger, Everett “Tiny” and Betty Younger and Elmer Younger.

Active Pallbearers will be Dwayne Hayes, Gary Younger, Kevin Benge, Shaun Hayes, Dakotah Benge and Kirk McDonald.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Brinkley Hayes, Jacob Ince and Harvey McDonald.

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Saturday and 2 – 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow where the family will greet 4 – 6 pm Sunday.
