She was born on February 13, 1930 in Vian, Oklahoma to Lula (Davis) Horn and Jim Horn and passed away on September 4, 2022 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She was married to James White. He preceded her in death. Elma loved spending time with her family, she loved to quilt, sew, garden, and play cards. She had the most contagious laugh and kindest smile. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Survivors are:

7 daughters, Brenda White of Twin Falls, ID, Wilma Copeland and Ronald of Vian, OK, Cynthia Gifford and Steve of Grandview, ID, Margie Sue Fuqua and Gary of Gooding, ID, Rebecca White of Grandview, ID, Pamela Gilbert and Jody of Grandview, ID and Mary Henderson of Gooding, ID;

2 sons, James White and Lori of Nampa, ID and Rodney White and Debbie of Caldwell, ID;

many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren;

2 sisters, Cuba Kennedy and Melcena Barenberg of Vian, OK;

and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one son, Steven Dale White; husband; parents; three brothers; two sisters; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
