Funeral service for Elsa Mae (Williams) Mosley, 77, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Roland, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on February 5, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan to Belester (Williams) and Johnnie Carter and passed away on November 18, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was married to Virgil “Jack” Mosley, Sr. in 1961. He preceded her in death on August 7, 2019. She worked at Riverside Furniture before becoming a homemaker to take care of her family and children.

two sons, Virgil Mosley, Jr. and Veesta of Muldrow, OK and Eric Mosley and Christa of Roland, OK; one son-in-law, Calvin Freeman; six grandchildren, Ariana Dorsett and James, Tyrone Mosley, Virgil “Trey” Mosley, III, Evonté Mosley, Jordan Mosley and Maleah McKinney; and great-grandchildren; two brothers, John Wayne Carter and Annette of Flint, MI and Marvin Carter of Flint, MI; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil “Jack” Mosley, Sr.; one daughter, Myra Freeman; parents; three sisters, Joyce Allen, Carolyn Carter and Barbara Sanders; and two brothers, Dennis and Len Carter.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Friday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 5 – 8 PM.
