Elsie (Henry) Dyer

Funeral Service for Elsie (Henry) Dyer, 94 of Gans, Oklahoma will be at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on June 10, 1926 in Gans, Oklahoma to Minnie Lee (Stevenson) Henry and James Syrus Henry and passed away on January 17, 2021 in Van Buren, Arkansas. She was married to Bradley Samuel Dyer on September 17, 1942 in Gans, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on May 29, 2004. Mrs. Dyer was a homemaker and a member of First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow.

Survivors are:

2 sons: Larry Dyer of Muldrow, OK and Dale Dyer of Ozark, AR;

4 grandchildren: Briana Copeland, Jeremy Dyer, Kristie Christopher and Tara Moser;

7 great grandchildren: Brody Wood, Josie Speaker, Kaley Harvell, Alyssa Ross, Jonathan Dyer, Kellen Moser and Shawn Miller;

2 great great grandchildren;

numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter: Fran Elkins, 3 sisters: Emma Bell, Edith and Erdy and 7 brothers: Elvis, Ernest, Erman, Earl, Elvin, Emory and Elmer.

Active Pallbearers will be Jeremy Dyer, Mike Rhoads, David Rhoads, Greg Barnes, and Kenneth O’Neal.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Edward Barnes.

Viewing will be noon – 8 pm Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow.
