Services for Elvin Cullum, Jr., 85 of Hanson, Oklahoma will be at 1 pm on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Fleetwood Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on May 9, 1933 in Hanson, Oklahoma to Ruby (Hoppis) Cullum and Elvin Cullum and passed away on October 20, 2018 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Marcia Lee (Burkholder) Cullum on April 1, 1961 in Interior, South Dakota. He was a heavy equipment mechanic and operator and a member of Hanson Baptist Church. Elvin was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and fisherman.

Survivors are:

Loving wife of 57 years: Marcia of the home

3 sons and daughters in law: Gary Don and Sheila Cullum of Hanson, OK, Greg and Anna Cullum of Ft. Gibson, OK, and Bradley and Marlene Cullum of San Antonio, TX

2 daughters and 1 son in law: Amy and Corky Morgan of Hanson, OK and Kitty Tubby of Orange Park, FL

16 grandchldren: Laura, Lesley, Samantha, Grant, Travis, Caleb, Joshua, Isaac, Jordan, Sebastian, Hannah, Samuel, Brayden, Garrett, Chloe and Bethany

7 great grandchildren

numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

1 brother and sister in law: Max and Marcia Cullum of Sallisaw, OK

1 sister and brother in law: Colleen and Louis Jenkins of Guyton, GA

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elvin and Ruby Cullum; 1 brother, Cleatus Cullum; 1 sister, Maudine Cullum; and son in law, Marty Rogers

Active Pallbearers will be Gary Don Cullum, Greg Cullum, Bradley Cullum, Grant Cullum, Rev. Joshua Rogers, Caleb Rogers, Travis Cullum, Max Cullum, and Corky Morgan.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Isaac Rogers, Louis Jenkins, Sebastian Cullum, Samuel Cullum, Chase Manning, Gary Pratt and Garland Huff .

Viewing will be Tuesday 10 am – 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw. The family will greet from 6 – 8 pm.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hanson Baptist Church building fund.
