Graveside Service for Emily Edgar, 74, of Antlers, Oklahoma, will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Webber Cemetery in Gore, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on March 10, 1950 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Cherokee (Wildcat) Thompson and Oscar Hicks and passed away on September 14, 2024 in Sherman, Texas. She married Richard Edgar in Oklahoma. She was a homemaker. 

Survivors are husband of 42 years, Richard of the home; one son, Shannon Edgar and Kimberly of Colbert, OK; one daughter, Sheena Dunn and Jeremy of Sherman, TX; three grandchildren, Zoey Edgar, Bexley Edgar and Oaklee Rogers; four sisters, Terry Casinger of Stigler, OK, Elizabeth Thompson of Glenpool, OK, Shirley Thompson of Checotah, OK and Deborah Burgess of Schulter, OK; one brother, Russell Thompson, Jr. of Mounds, OK; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Active Pallbearers will be Joe Bear, Jr., Jonathan Bear, Warren Littlejohn, Newman Casinger, Trent Casinger and Justin Burgess. 

Wake will begin at 7 PM Tuesday at Cedar Springs Baptist Church in Nothietown, Oklahoma.
