Emma Edith Fields, 95, of Muldrow, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She was born March 6, 1922 in Havre, Montana the daughter of Ralph Daniel Erner and Emma Edith (Markley) Erner. She was married to Eugene L. Fields on September 18, 1939 in Albany, Oregon. He preceded her in death in 2002. After retiring from Sparks Hospital in housekeeping, she owned and operated a kennel which she enjoyed very much. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.

Survivors are:

2 daughters: Edie M. Fields of St. Peters, MO and Juanita G. Fields of Sallisaw, OK

14 Grandchildren: Vincent Perez, Leroy Perez, Tina Perez, David Perez, Naomi Weeks, Meshell Little, Kelly Culbertson, Brian Culbertson, Sam Silas, Jodie Baxter, Rhonda Miller-Matthews, Eugene Fields, Bill Baxter, and Ron Baxter

several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren

1 sister: Bernice Walker of Mollala, OR

1 brother: Bob Erner of Roseburg, OR

several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene; 1 daughter, Georgia “Jeri” Perez; 1 son, Ronald Gene Fields; her parents, Ralph and Emma Erner; and siblings, Edna, Roy, Sue, Leona, and Harold
